10 Completely Random Facts

It's time for some completely random and interesting facts.


Image result for mouse and giraffe1. Squirrels have the same number of vertebrae in their necks as a giraffe. It's seven. In fact, all mammals have 7 vertebrae in their necks apart from two of the sloth family.


2. Elephants have 150,000 muscles in their trunks. And get charged extra baggage fees on planes because of it.


3. A German U-Boat Captain caused the sinking of his sub because he didn't know how to flush the toilet. Click here for more.


4. Four million cats are eaten in Asia each year. Sheesh, steer clear of those McDonald's restaurants.  


5. If you lift a Kangaroo's tail off the ground, it can't hop. But it can kick you in the face.


6. Tintin is called Tantan in Japan, as Tintin is pronounced "Chin chin" in Japanese. And it means penis.


7. The Greek God Zeus is mentioned in the bible. Twice. And was raised by a goat. Click here for more.


8. The shortest war in history lasted only 38 minutes. It was on the 27th August 1896, between Britain and Zanzibar.

10. There is such a thing as Space Cats. In 1963, France decided to blast a cat into space to see what would happen. They named it Felicette (Astrocat) and implanted electrodes in her brain which were designed to transmit neurological signals back to mission control.
